This project was delivered as a design-build project and included the installation of a new linear accelerator for the Beverly Lewis Cancer Care Center in Pomona, California. The project consists of a linear accelerator concrete containment facility, employee monitoring center, patient waiting area, audio-visual system, patient meditation garden area and a new chiller loop system to provide chilled water for the new linear accelerator addition and the two existing linear accelerators. gkkworks utilized the design-build approach to achieve the aggressive scheduling goals set by the client.
