gkkworks, Construction Services (formerly Syska Hennessy Group Construction) was awarded a 5-year, $100 M IDIQ Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) No. N68711-05-D-4014 in March of 2005. In April of 2010, gkkworks was awarded a second (consecutive) MACC No. N62473-10-D-5484 in the amount of $300 M. Under these contracts, projects have been performed (and are ongoing) at military facilities throughout the contract area. Task Orders awarded to the firm (to date) total over $52 M, and include new construction and renovations of (primarily) electrical facilities such as the repair/replacement of electrical substations, replacement of airfield lighting, construction of power lines, and multiple design & construction projects for new photovoltaic systems at various military installations.
