Ed brings 27 years of diverse design experience and team leadership, domestic and international, with many user-specific projects recognized for design excellence and contributions to their respective contexts. Ed defines success as a collaborative dialogue, noting "my greatest joy is working with each client to realize their vision for aesthetic integrity and functional effectiveness." In addition to a collaborative process, integration of sustainability and design for the human experience are driving elements of Ed's approach to architecture. Ed's experience includes both public and private sector work such as commercial, civic, academic, and healthcare facilities. Ed also loves to travel and is passionate about seeing new places, experiencing diverse cultures and furthering his knowledge and appreciation of the arts. Ed is a licensed architect and holds a Masters of Architecture Degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a long time resident of San Diego, California and he currently manages gkkworks' San Diego operations.
